This photo was taken by me on July 7, 2009 at Woodland Hills Nature Park in Michigan. I like the way the light fell upon the chipmunk. The combination of light and shadow presented a difficult challenge to get it right. It also presented an opportunity, because the chipmunk had trouble seeing me as long as I didn't make any obvious moves. I hope you enjoy this one.
