Watchful Bullfrog

This week's Free Wallpaper shows a Bullfrog peeking up from the water. It was contributed by Steve from Out On The Prairie. This is another one in his excellent series of wallpapers here at Nature Center Magazine. Steve takes nature photos exclusively, and he doesn't leave home without his camera.


Let's let Steve tell about this photo in his own words.

"One of the pleasure of kayaking is running silent and being able to glide close to wildlife. This is at the lake at White Oak Nature Preserve near Rose Hill, IA. This bullfrog hung out with me while I took picture of him and dragonflies that were visiting. A small lake with low traffic, it is easy to make a few passes around it in an afternoon looking for natures treasures."
