Our Cool Nature Video this time shows us that you can find nature even in your own back yard. Sometimes wild animals will come out of the dark and right up close. If you're lucky, those wild animals will be the cute kind, like this little hedgehog that is eating up all that cat food. This is a good closeup of Sonic's real life cousin.
This is the same idea as feeding the birds. But always know that these critters will come back, and maybe begin to bring friends. If you're prepared for that, then a little snack won't hurt. Make sure you only do this at home though. You don't want to upset an animals habitat in a more wild area where they aren't used to humans already. And never get closer than to take pictures. Our friend who took this video knows that already, and now you do too. You can see some good things if you use your head.
This excellent video of close to home nature watching was brought to us by someone many of you already know, Bemused26 from DSLR Images. You can find many great nature pictures and more videos like this one right there. You can also see more of her nature videos at her YouTube Page. What are you waiting for?

Thanks for featuring my hedgehog Ratty. The video zooms in and out as I was testing the new camera. The hedgehog is not scared at all by me and knows me very well now- just in case people think I'm in too close!
ReplyDeleteI love hedgehogs...I love to see them out at night and I was very upset after my shed fire to find that one had been hibernating underneath it :-( I'm hoping that more will visit my allotment soon and keep the bugs under control!!
