The Free Wallpaper for this week shows a newborn calf. This baby is so new that the umbilical cord is still attached to it. This photo has already been featured on Out On The Prairie, but Steve sent it to me because I liked it so much. I know you'll like it too, because there's just something special about babies.
This edition of our Free Wallpaper feature is sort of a two parter, in more ways than one. We are actually sharing two photos with you this time. You can pick which one you want. That's the first part. Next week is part two where you get to meet this baby's family.

If you would like to see more of Steve's photos, and his excellent stories, you can find them at his blog, Out On The Prairie, and even more of his photos on his Flickr site. He writes fiction that is based on the lives of his family and friends. He interviewed them to get the essence of their experiences with nature and life on the prairie.
